Welzer

Prof. Dr. Harald Welzer is one of Germany’s most distinguished critics of growth and one of the most consequent thought leaders of our times regarding the way into a desirable future.

His bestselling books “Climate Wars: What People Will Be Killed For in the 21st Century” as well as “Selbst denken” (“Thinking for Ourselves”) introduced him to a wider public. Harald Welzer (*1958) studied sociology, political sciences and literature at Hanover University where he also graduated and later specialized in Sociology; Social Psychology, in particular. Since 2012, he is Professor for Transformation Design at the University of Flensburg.
